Q. How do you vet the cleaners?
We have 5 different stages that each cleaner must pass. We realise the importance of security in your home and therefore ensure our cleaners are vetted, experienced and insured. We first carry out a telephone interview, if the applicant seems suitable we then arrange for a more thorough interview to take place in their own home. All cleaners then complete a cleaning trial. If successful we check two references and a obtain copy of their passport and a current utility bill for proof of address.
Q. Do I meet my cleaner before the first clean?
Yes, you can meet the cleaner before cleaning commences.
Q. Do I have to remain in my home with the cleaner?
No, our cleaners are vetted and will take the responsibility of holding your keys. We will provide you with a Key Acknowledgement Form for your cleaner to sign.
Q. Do I have to supply cleaning materials?
Yes, our cleaners do not carry their own materials as the majority of our clients prefer to specify the substances used in their homes. Also to avoid the spread of germs and bacteria from one house to another it is better that we use our clients cleaning materials, hoover, cloths etc.
Q. Can I change my cleaner if I am not happy?
Yes, of course, Domestic Bliss Ltd has a large and varied selection of cleaners, just give us a call.
Q. Do I have insurance cover?
Yes, we provide public liability and indemnity insurance which covers all the cleaners while they are working. Cover is up to €13,000,000. Public liability is €2.6 million.
